Rate Classes and Downloads

Residential "A" Rate

Our most common residential rate.  Not available to Small Business or Commercial/Industrial Customers. .0842 per kWh.  Customer Charge of $3.55.

Residential "T" Rate

For GMLD customers who heat their homes solely with electric heat sources.  Decorative , wood burning fireplaces are allowed; all other heat sources are excluded.  Rate is closed to  new customers as of July 1, 2018 and does not transfer with the sale of property. 

First 500kWh: .0739, usage over 500 kwh: .0627.  Customer Charge of $8.70

Commercial, Small Business "B" Rate

For connected loads of less than  10kW.

 .0875 per kWh usage.  Customer charge of $3.55

Commercial, Industrial "C" Rate

For large Commercial or Industrial Customers.  Based on a Demand of 10kW or more. 

Demand Charge: $6.00 per kW.  .0505 per kWh usage.  Customer Charge of  $45.30.

PPAC

The Purchased Power Adjustment Clause, or PPAC, is a mechanism  used to compensate for the fluctuating cost  of wholesale power. Your PPAC charge is calculated by  multiplying the usage by the current month’s PPAC rate.
