We have added this feature in an attempt to keep our customers updated in the event of large scale or neighborhood outages - planned or unplanned. Any time you see a downed line, please just STAY AWAY and give us a call. Let us know the location; a street address or a pole number will do, and we will assess the situation. If you have a downed line AND a loss of power - either fully or partially, let us know that as well!
GMLD has a proactive tree trimming program for it's Distribution System (the main powerlines you see out on the street - both high and low voltage). If you see something concerning that has broken off and may interfere with our lines, please let us know and we will check it out. **Please note that GMLD is not responsible for trimming ttrees on private property. Trimming service lines from a pole to a house is the responsibility of a homeowner, though on occasion GMLD crews may trim them out if the threat warrants or time permits it.
